Britain has many different accents for the size of the place, its kinda weird. But if you look at Australia, they have the same accent all over the country.

Like someone already said the formation of sounds in each language is a little different. As such, when someone attempts to speak English who is not a native speaker vowel formation and syllabification often come out wrong. Within languages, there are often dialects as well. For Example: High(or Proper) German as it was called in High School and then the Bavarian dialect.
