my own I'm going through the last couple read before I send it to the publisher. Took longer than I thought it would. The draft wasn't that much work compared to the months of revisions. I am hoping to be done in the next couple weeks

Current: Cien aņos de soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude). I am reading it in Spanish, wayyy better than the English version.

I dunno about my next one

I recently read that Sam Raimi is planning on launching a television production company and that his first project will be a miniseries based on the Dean Koontz book The Taking, so I decided to re-read that so it's fresher in my mind.

Fantastic book, BTW. So atmospheric it's palpable even while reading.

Now I'm just starting John Sandford's new Prey novel Phantom Prey. My all-time favorite series. I like the early Lincoln Child books from Jeffrey Deaver as well as Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, but Lucas Davenport is the shit and John Sandford is a masterful storyteller. The majority of his novels have a very light-hearted feel to the crime drama, but when he wants to, Sandford can quicken the suspense in an instant.

The last two or three WOT books pissed me off. I think he was losing his mind.
