What band is the biggest sell out?

The new ****llica album got me thinking, which band is the biggest sell out?

****llica sold out during Garage Inc I reckon. Green Day another massive sell out band I used to like back when they released Dookie.

I reckon Chilli Peppers would be the all time number one sell out, I used to love them in Mother's Milk and Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic days...stayed with them with ONe Hot Minute. They used to be alternative and edgy now they just put out radio friendly pop, and can they put out anything that doesn't have the word "California" in the title or chorus?

Tool would have to be the biggest NON sell out band, those dudes dont change for anything or anyone.

Who do you reckon?

Tool sucks anyway

****llica didn't sell out they were already succesful as hell, on top of billboard, sold out wolrd tours and so on, they evolved and their fans didn't

My pick

Pearl Jam= Backstreet Boys of grunge

Fair point about ****llica.

RHCP changed their sound to suit 13 year old girls.

Linkin Park, though they were pretty much sellouts from the start,Minutes To Midnight was a complete pop sellout

O.A.R. Not even a contest. Not that they were awesome in any regard back in the day, but how you make the transition from stoned frat boy music to VH1 power ballading is beyond me.

The biggest anti-sellout band? Radiohead. Without a doubt. Record label what?

Im gunna have to go with Black Eyed Peas. Back in the day they used to be Jurrasic 5 or Common, now they are shadows of their former self. Shit like My Humps should be on a Fiddy album not a BEPs one.

Tool dont suck either, Tool fucking rool.

KISS...hell, back when not selling out and the 'art' of music was really important, Kiss was selling trading cards and Kiss toy action figures...
