What age is too old to fight?

I'm having my first amateur fight in a few weeks,I'm thirty one years old.For the most part everyone is excited and what not BUT I did have a few people express that I may be a little to old for this.I definitely don't think so (I train all the time and feel great). Majority of the top fighters are in their thirtys so My question is At what age is to old and am I too old?
*I would of post this in the OT but those guys are too much, actually want honest answers*

the oldest professional fighter at the moment is 60+ (Skip Hall, fought Dan Severn last year), so i doubt 31 is too old.

Tell that shit to Randy Couture or Bernard Hopkins. Chuck Liddell and Crocop are older than you as well.

Honestly you might be a bit old to compete with the top dogs (like UFC contender status), but you're not definitely not too old to compete in general.

I would say the mid 30s is a little old to be doing your first fight.

I don't think 31 is too old. Many start when they are younger, but who cares. You've still got plenty of years ahead to progress get better, and do lots in the fight game. Good luck
