The Walking Dead

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys zombie fliks or comics, or just anyone who enjoys comics in general. Definately a great read. This is not your typical hack em slash em escape from the zombies story, not by far.

This serious is about what happens AFTER...you know how most zombie stories end with you going "Well wtf happens next?"...well this series is all about that. What happens to the characters and how they progress, change, and survive keeps you very interested.

There is gore and action too (great art in the series). You guys gotta check it out. I just finished reading volume 6.

comics, as a whole, have come a reaallly long way since 1999. Shame Im not a constant reader anymore.

I love the zombie theme, still unsure why it holds so much appeal.

it is hard to merge comics and the genre but hmm I will keep your advice in mind.

Great series, but the last few books have been kind of a let down, the story is getting really funky now.

The first two graphic novels were fantastic. There is a strict emphasis on character relationships that I really enjoyed.

Ssshhhucks! I thought that you were referring to the Vietnam movie by the same name. Very good movie, IMO. And very obscure. I've been unable to find it on legit dvd. Fortunately, I dub my vhs copy to dvdr.

Vacating your thread, now.
