God of War 3 looking very close to CG teaser in terms of graphics
In the latest HotSpot podcast -from GameSpot- , numerous sources reported that "the level of realism as far as the graphics go in God of War 3" looks very close to the CG teaser. They actually said it is looking like Beowulf the movie. The discussion lasts 59 minutes.
i believe it. look what guerilla has done with killzone 2. it has come so close to the cgi teaser they had @ e3 couple years ago.

God, I hope that's the case. GOW3 is one of the main reasons i picked up a PS3.
1up is also reporting the same thing.
graphically i think ps3 is going to widen the gap even more next year compared to the 360.

Sounds promising. I'm assuming they're set for next year with possibly three huge games in GoW3, TeamIco game, and Heavy Rain. It looks like developers can do a lot if given 3-4 years to develop a game.
But how can it look like Beowulf when the CG trailer didn't even look as good as Beowulf. I'm going to guess they meant the art style of the game resembled Beowulf. Just hard to believe a game looking that good.
I don't have a PS3 or a 360 for that matter. Maybe I'll eventually get one or the other. That being said, God of War and God of War 2 were absolutely outstanding. Two of the best games I've ever played. Usually when I like a game this much, I can at least find some flaws in it (for instance, Twisted ****l 2 was the greatest two-player game ever, but the graphics left a lot to be desired). However, with GoW and GoW2, I have nothing to complain about.

Awesome, pretty much one of the main reason I went with PS3 was GOW3. Ive also seen alot of Killzone 2 shots and footage and Im pretty excited about that as well, looks like a major improvement over 1
