Wrong.
There is no copyright for the key. Its just a string of numbers and is not copyrighted. They do not see it as publishing code that the company paid for the programmer to develop. The issue that the AACS has is that the key is being used to circumvent DRM technology. As I stated before it is an abuse of the DMCA to go after people for attempting to circumvent DRM technology.
