I think South Korea is the leader in broadband width, then Japan. And yes, as someone mentioned earlier...It is because SK and JP are much smaller countries compared to the U.S.

I'm in Boondocks, TN and I don't foresee this area getting real broadband (not BS satellite internet) in the next 50 years, if ever.

in japan, my downloads would often go at 1mbps. and i just had basic dsl, and i lived in the country. it was awesome.
