Uniteds new signings disrupt the balance?

Iam a Man U fan and i am really pleased with their signings so far this transfer window, but after such a good season could these players disturb the team and destroy the balance. They have signed Hargreaves who i think could fit in perfectly and also keep carrick on his toes. I havent seen enough of either anderson an nani to comment but from what i have they both look really lively. And then to our most recent signing carlos tevez, a great prospect with a great future but is he the right man for us?? Your thoughts?

I'm a United fan too. I think the signings make a lot of sense. Andersona and Nani have been brought in to eventually replace Scholes and Giggs, though they'll be around for another couple of seasons at least. Hargreaves was brought in for next season to come into the rotation with Scholes and Carrick. Tevez is a talisman. Did you see how well he played for West Ham last year? Can you imagine him in the United team?

In short the players have been brought in with an eye on the future as much as the present. We can't rely on Ronaldo/Rooney the whole time and these signings will give us more gamebreakers for the opposition to deal with.

I can see Tevez working well with Rooney. He's more of a poacher and Rooney plays a lot better when he's just dropping off the main striker. Having him up on his own with Scholes in support doesn't work too well. I don't really see the point in buying Hargreaves. They should have got him last year instead of Carrick if anything. They are similar type of player although Hargreaves is somewhat a utility player, he plays best in the holding midfield role that Carrick occupies. The midfield needed strengthening. It was quite obvious players like Fletcher who've been brought through were just never gonna be up to scratch.

BTW- I'm from manchester and i hate Utd

Great signings (except for Hargreaves he is not world class IMO) But frankly you paid way above what he is worth, same as you did with Carrick, you will need to survive with the creativity of Rooney, Tevez, Cronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Anderson and Nani and you can't play more then 4 of them at a time

Tevez, Nani and Anderson are exciting signings (god knows I would have wanted them for Arsenal) and you seem to bhave a solid finacial plan for them, still a helluva lot of money, if they fail it is money down the drain

Just imagine what Arsene could have bought with a smidgeon of that money

I would welcome Rooney and Cronaldo in exchange for Hleb and Adebayor but that is it (fro mthe starting XI

Buryconn Tevez ain't a poacher, he plays on the wings or jsut behind the main striker, Rooneys territory!

If Manure would get Anelka now it would be nasty

Bollocks...the only Arsenal players who would get near the Utd first team are Fabregas, Toure and maybe Van Persie on form.

Yep, I cannot see Tevez fitting in at United.

Rooney is the best in that position, unless Alex is going to play them both behind a striker.

We'll see.

For £20 million he could have had Torres... imagine that.

Lehmann, Gallas, Adebayor and Rosicky would all be on United's team sheet... I'm sure of that.
