Uncredited Cover Songs

what are some songs that are basically cover songs or ripoffs in which original artist is either not cited or is in the footnotes but not explicitly enough not to be lame as fuck?

i can think of 4 such songs off the top of my head:

kid rock - "only god knows why" (pearl jam - "yellow ledbetter")

kid rock - "american badass" (****llica - "sad but true")

the offsping - "why don't you get a job" (beatles - "ob-la-di ob-la-da")

jet - "look what you've done" (beatles - "sexy sadie)

It seems like a lot of rap and pop songs have ripped off Michael Jackson's old beats recently.

Danzig also got angry, maybe even sued Stone Temple Pilots when they came out with Sex Type Thing which sounds very similar to Snakes of Christ. Both great songs btw.

Compare the two and tell me what you think

This is the best version I could find.

I hate this band, but ICP did a song called Another Love Song and it is a blatant rip off of Jackass by Beck.

that's another one where the riff is definitely stolen, but it's not like they made the same song again. hell, they don't even play it at the same speed.

i don't even count rap songs where they take the music and then recycle the chorus as well. that shit is endemic. what a shit genre.

Everybody is a thief in music. For example. Yellow Ledbetter itself is heavily derivative of Little Wing by Hendrix.
