There was a girl I got turned down by a while ago mostly because she wasn't over her old boyfriend, I also go friendzoned. Anyhow I haven't talked to this girl since summer started (3-4 months) and I hear she's gotten over her old boyfriend finally so I got to thinking I should try again.

I'm trying to get her number again and hang/drink with her tomorrow. Is this a bad idea? Should I forget about her?

The only reason I'm even thinking about this is because some people brought it up and recommended it the other day. Wanting some more experienced sherdoggers' thoughts.

I don't see a problem about just going out and having a drink. nothing harmless. Then after you see her maybe things will be more clear than last time.

I don't follow how would things be clearer because we're buzzed and more likely to relax and talk?

Oh yeah we're in high school so it's not really just a drink at a restaurant or bar, not sure if that changes the situation.

Oldest excuse in the book. I've had that one pulled on me a few times. Your chances are slim, so be prepared for her to say no.

I believe her when she said that. She used to talk about him ALOT. She was obsessed with the kid. She even used to call him up when it was over. It was weird..... then again she's a weird kid.

You should definately contact her! even if you end up in the friend zone then you can try to hook up with her friends. broaden your horizen!
