And i have moved by night in shaddy parts of St Petersburg, Berlin, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Stockholm

i was there last july, summer solstice, super bright sun until 1 am, dark again until 4 am, then sunny again, soooo cool. it is super duper expensive there, 1/2 a tank of gas in a honda prius was $90, seriously. the sculpture park in oslo is totally awesome. the best was driving around, the southern coast was like something out of lord of the rings, driving through mountain tops, across huge valleys with fjords and waterfalls as far as the eye can see. almost no litter and no billboards littering your views.
copenhagen is definitely a little cooler, too bad christiana closed down. it was an old government army base in copenhagen that squatters took over in the 60's. they ran it pretty tight, had their own restaurants and bars, a skatepark, and the biggest attraction was the open air drug market which the government allowed. it was copenhagens second biggest tourist attraction. i believe it is closed now but if not it's the shit.
