Traumatizing things

I have seen two things that were so horrible I will never be able to forget them.
A few semesters ago I was on my way to school when all of a sudden all the cars slammed on the breaks and we were at a dead stop. I was right above an overpass and looked up and saw a man standing on the other side of the guard rail looking like he was about to jump. There were several police officers coaxing him down and offering him their hand. People were shouting from their cars "dont jump, please dont jump"
I was looking right at him, and praying he didnt jump. He looked really young, probably late teens early twenties. I was thinking the cops would grab him and pull him back over, but instead he jumped from the overpass which was a good 40-50 feet. He landed just feet from my car, it was so close I heard the terrible sound of him smacking the concrete. I dont want to go into detail about what the man looked like after he jumped but it was so bloody and gruesome that it left me traumatized. The guy twitched around and moaned for a minute and that was all. I seriously cannot emphasize the horror of it,

Another was I went with my dad on a fire call [hes a volunteer fireman] that was way up in a canyon in the middle of nowhere. A teenager had hit a man on a motorcycle head on. When we get there we see a man wedged under a car with one of his legs cut off below the knee. He had a horrible head wound as well and was just screaming and crying in pain. It was so bad I almost wished he would die so that he would not have to suffer like he was. Lifeflight [helicoptor] was called but by the time they got there the man was dead. It was so bad that I couldnt even stand to watch it and went to sit in my dads car.

There are a couple more horrible things but these were the worst.

Anyone else witness something horrible

Do strangers always throw themselves off a bridge when they see you?

Nothing has really affected me like that. I saw a guy get hit by a car and smash through the windshield like a bag of rocks. That's about it I guess.

I saw a CH53 helicopter bank hard and crash to the gound killing several Marines in the process. I was within a half-mile of the scene, so I didn't see ground zero.

I was in San Fransisco with my school when I was about 14 and we were looking out the window and everyone's just walking along the street and there's a bunch fo tramps all up against walls etc.

Anyway this guy just walks up to one of them and just stabs him about a dozen times and walks off.

The tramp just sort of dies standing up against the wall.

No-one on the street gave a shit. I'm not talking about scummy people I'm talking about regular well dressed people jsut walking past who'd seen it all, so we started shouting shit at them , telling them they were scum.

We weren't allowed to leave the hotel so we couldn't do anything, I guess no1 really cares when a homeless guy dies.

After a while some other homeless guy came over and sast the dead guy in a wheel chair and walked off.

Didn't really traumatize me at all to be honest but it does kinda fit in with the thread.

If anything, seeing the stabbing didn't affect me but seeing everyeone just carry on like nothing had happened. It was strange because if it had been a pretty young girl dresssed in nice clothes then you know that street would've been rammed with pig cars and it'd be on the news.

I was flipping through the channels one time and saw Rosie O'Donnel. I've been going to therapy since.
