1st wasn't that bad, its a comic book movie so expect it to be semi hookey(sp?)
Anyway I think they just showed all the good parts so I dont know if it will be great, but ill watch it anyway.

I think it depends on your level of expectancy. Hellboy certainly "looks" like a comic movie, but it ain't your traditional comic tale. Basically, it's a story surrounding a secret sect of the government that deals with the paranormal (called the B.P.R.D.; aka Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense). You see these wild characters, like Hellboy or Abe, but they act and are regarded as if they are as normal as the guy next to them. And they act as a unit doing investigative work, rather than straight-out heroics.
The comic, itself, is unique in its own right, and puts the film adaptations to shame. It's a pretty difficult premise to move over to such a medium.

It would work better as a tv show.
The first one was okay. I guess I'll rent this one.
