I used to love Total Annihilation, it was probably my favourite RTS of all time I played it for years, I was just on youtube and found this vid. Some people have made a proper 3D Total Annihilation that looks immense and its free! My computer struggled to run Supreme Commander but I'll definetly be giving this a go.

I have never played Total Annihilation, but everyone kept saying that Supreme Commander was the "spiritual successor" to TA. The video there looks a bit like a poor man's Sup Com. Care to explain what is so great about this game?

The first installment was sick. I loved the super weapons in the game (especially the giant mech-bot thing that was basically unstoppable). I had no idea they were making another, I'll keep an eye on this one.
