if you do anything involving air planes you will go all over the world. also you would be learning a skill that you could actually use when you get out. air force is probably the best way to go if you want to see the world, get college credits at the same time, learn a skill, and get crazy amounts of strange. coast guard is awesome if you dont mind staying around the states.

Join up! I was in for 12 yrs. You don't have to be assigned to a ship either... USN has a lot of shore stations, and thats where the rest of the navy works.

Lots of jobs that can transfer to the civilian world too. My advice, go to the medical side of the navy.

You get out of it what you put into it... I know it sounds cliche, but its the truth. Goodluck to you.

Yeah!!!! This guy has a good point. When ever I happened to be on an AF base, I was always sad I didn't join the AF...

if you want to be on float with dudes for months at a time...go for it.

join the Air Force and get a job.

consider this factoid. Special Operations always get prefered treatment....are better looking, and get more pussy...its a fact

My good for nothing cousin joined the Navy. He spent 4 years going around the world, from Europe to the Mid East to South America, this kid could not hold down a job before joining and all he ever does is say good things when he talks about it.

Now he has a skill that can earn him over 100k a year.
