Bale would have worked. During the time it was made, he just wasn't marketable though.

I don't think Alba looked better in any movie or picture than she did in Sin City.

Kilmer? Negatory.

Ever since Batman Begins people want Bale for EVERYTHING.

He's decent but way overhyped.

And no, Keanu > all the aforementioned for Neo.
Dude, everything about Troy was good EXCEPT for Pitt. He did the action scenes excellent and he looked the part, he is a very good actor but this was one of his movies where his acting sucked- and he couldn't pull off the accent.

Kilmer and Bale are two of the most versatile actors within their generation. Aside from the batman movies they have a whole portfolio of roles loved by critics.

And read my post, I said Keanu was excellent for the Matrix.

I don't find her all that attractive. She has the body of a young boy. Her face is very pretty, but she doesn't look like a woman to me.

Besides, no matter how hot you people think she was in the movie, she was still wrong for the part. Especially considering the work they put in to make Marv look like the Marv from the graphic novels.

In Spider-man 3 they were trying to make Brock to be a mirror image of Peter Parker, so they needed another little dorky guy. Brock in the comic was always more a Flash Thompson type, but they wen another way in the movie.

Hayden Chrisitanson hands down has been the worst casting mistake ever. Absolutely fucking terrible choice to play Anakin Skywalker.
Christensen can act when given the right role, though. His acting in the Star Wars prequels was more the fault of Lucas's flaccid direction and total lack of interest in anything non-special-effects related.

Yeah I remember when my body was like this as a kid.

The other actors did way more with what they had to work with.

He sucks donkey balls as an actor...there is no rationalizing that.

Compare that to Jessica Biel or Scarlett Johansen. Idk how that first pic constitutes an ass, but to each his own.
