Yeah, even in the Bond world I had to do a mental double take to make sure I caught that right. Ill accept bullet dodging, near invulnerability, villains who have bullets lodged in their brain, steel teeth and flying guillotine bowlers but bimbo #2 from Starship Troopers is the nuclear physicist?

She was a starship pilot in Starship Troopers.

Agreed with both of these. I'd never been much of a fan of Dicaprio until his role in Departed. Though he's not really tough guy material, i think he handled the tough guy aspect alright and the rest of his brooding, vulnerable, outcast-ish character was spot-on.

And the whole newer Star Wars episodes have been ass. To Christianson's defence, I don't know if anyone could have played Annakin Skywalker well; they wrote him to be such a whiny little puss. Attack of the Clones was just brutal because of how they wrote him.

I've only seen the first 20 minutes or so of We Own the Night, but I wasn't a big fan of Joaquin Phoenix as the studly Ladies Man. When he was making out with Eva Mendes (bastard) at the start, it just seemed kind of unbelievable to me. He's always been a real private, "different" kind of guy and I just don't think it suited him.

Yes you are correct 100%, there will never be a better Wonka than Wilder.

I thought the puke they got to play John Connor in Terminator 3 was ridiculous.

I forgot about that fucker. I spent the whole movie thinking, "What is with this guy!". Did Edward Furlong(original John Connor) decline the role or something?

I don't know about casting but whoever in Hollywood decided that Kirsten Dunst, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kirstie Alley and Sarah Jessica Parker are attractive needs to be fired immediately.
