I've learned that 98% of nurses only got their license because they had the ability to take tests. That's it. God forgot to give them a little thing called "COMMON SENSE".

Oh and I've seen patients go for three days without antibiotic medications somply because the nurse didn't look in the right medication inbox. She expected us (Rx) to hand deliver each medication. I told her "DO you want me to administer the med to your patient too"

this is true, i have done it many times. sorry to sound racist, but it was always black women who order strawberry daquaries, which suck to make in the first place, would complain b/c it wasn't strong enough. every single time. we would just pour vodka down the straw.

if you want a strong drink, don't order a freaking daquarie.

the one about pouring water in liquor bottles? i think it used to happen, but does not any more -it is a crime. you will get nailed big time.

and yes, if you order a well done steak the chef and server will have no respect for you. if you do it on a busy night, they will put grill marks on it and then microwave it the rest of the way. it tastes like shit either way.

This year was by far the worst. I got sick a total of 5 times, from September through January. 4 upper respiratory infections, and one gastrointestinal infection. I almost had emergency surgery on my sinus tracts because I had caught one of those drug resistant bacterial sinus infections. I was on antibiotics off and on for the entire time I mentioned. Levaquin(levofloxacin) worked the best, even though Zithromax did well. I also took Augmentin but it fucked up my stomach worse than the others.
All the antibiotic therapy did fuck up my body, so I got off them.

Working in a hospital almost guarantees that, if you do catch a bug, it will be one of the nastier ones out there.
