i offered to take her out for coffee after work but she refused because she had a b-friend.

Stores are not allowed to put limits on credit card purchases. Basically a store can not put up a sign saying $5.00 to use your credit card. If they do that you can report them to visa or master card.

It is ridiculously easy to steal from a bottle shop. This didn't happen to me but one of my mates, a guy ran in, picked up a bottle of spirits from the front display, then ran out. We could do nothing.

We are specifically told we can't chase theives, and the police don't give a shit.
