that stuff about chicken and cheese being reused in different forms even after spoilage is true. I worked at a nursing home for awhile. The staff consists of lots of part-time college/High School kids. They never paid attention to what the person before them had done (or had stocked up). So loaves of bread going bad were very common. Stale and even Moldy bread was used for bread pudding on a weekly basis.

I got some KFC snackers the other day and the damn things had bits and pieces of old, dried out lettuce in them. I guess places do mix the old lettuce with the new lettuce. Assholes!

I did some kitchen work at an assisted living facility in high school. It's not a nursing home, it's like an apartment complex, but with dining facilities and nurses on hand if you need anything. Anyway, they had an extremely clean kitchen, and the food was better than most restaurants in the area. I'd be perfectly happy going to that place. Now when I was working on an ambulance as an EMT, I saw my share of "nursing homes" and those places are deaths waiting room.

great thread.
heres my add
McDonalds:
1. All the lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, everything is left out in the open for quite a while, so it gets really nasty.
2. The since the lettuce is left out in the open, it gets warm and employees stick their dirty little hands in a bucket of lettuce to make your big mac.
3. The small onions are dehydrated and its made by soaking it in water.
4. The cheese it left out on the counter in case there is a large order, burgers can be made faster. Employees build pyramids with the cheese and leave it on the counter so they turn golden yellow. The cheese then gets sticky and nasty so anything that flies on it gets stuck.
5. If you order something uncommon like "VEGIE BURGER" or "BLT GRILLED SANDWHICH" or "BLT CRISPY SANDWHICH"...... if the employee dropped the patty for those burgers, they will use it because it takes a while to make and they aren't much in stock and ready to use.
6. Don't order specials on a special sales day like "99c Chicken nugget tuesdays or 99c Big Mac Mondays" because employees make 50 of them ahead of time sitting on the counter incase fat people come and order in bulk.
7. Don't complain about your "double cheeseburger" being too greasy, because if you didn't want greasy food, u shouldnt be at McDs in the first place. The manager will give it back to the teenager employee at the grill and he will be pissed.
8.Patty's are dirty and frozen.
9. McD EMPLOYEES HAVE DIRTY HANDS!!!! REMEMBER THAT!!! THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR THEM TO WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER EVERYTHING THEY DO!!!! They will make patties, and then rush to fry things, and then wipe down the counter with a dirty wet rag that probably has tons of bacteria on it. They make the food on that same counter that the rag was used. They use that same hand that they touched the same rag with and touch your cheese, add the lettuce, etc......
10. Don't BE PICKY with your food. It pisses off the underpaid teenage employees that your order is a "special" and "complicated" while they have to quickly make many other orders. They will most likely give u a nasty burger.
Target
1. They have undercover shoppers in the store pretending to be regular customers, but they are there to catch you stealing.
2. If they are wearing a blue tooth ear piece, they are probably undercover (thats how they communicate with their partners).
3. Most target employees know who the undercover shoppers are.
4. Don't order from the Target Food Court
Now.. for Bank of America (also applies to wells fargo, wamu, and any other big large corporate banks)
1. Bank Tellers are paid to be Actors
2. Bank Tellers are usually undergrad teenage college students that don't know what they are doing, and have no clue about banking related things.
3. Bank Tellers are hired and trained to only do one thing, SELL SELL AND SELL. They hold numerous company meetings and workshops that make it seem like its there to help the employees serve customers, but its there to train them into robots to push their sales.
5. Tellers are forced to small talk with the customers and make them feel comfortable.
4. Bank Tellers are trained to push you into getting more and more credit cards even though you don't need it. They are trained to get you to open more accounts or upgrade. Why? because they get incentives and bonuses at the end of the quarter.
5. Bank Tellers are NOT trained in banking related information. They have no knowledge about business or anything else. If you have a complicated customer service questions and ask a Teller, 95% of the time they will run to their supervisor.
6. YOU DONT NEED A DEGREE TO BE A BANKING CENTER MANAGER OR ASSISTANT MANAGER. NOR DO YOU EVEN NEED A BUSINESS DEGREE TO BE A PERSONAL BANKER AT A BANKING CENTER, hence speaking to a bank teller is the last person you want to talk to. This is not mainly their fault, where as the Bank trains them to only sell and nothing else.
7. If you ask a teller about certain things like credit card, home equities, or interest rates, or anything besides accepting your deposit or withdrawal, they won't have a real answer for you, besides trying to give a fake response to get you out of their window.
1.my advice, don't eat at mcds or any fast food cuz you shouldnt be eating there anyways.
2. Steal from target if you want, i dont really care.
3. Take care of your own accounts and make sure the teller didnt make a mistake because they aren't very bright. And if you can, bank with a local bank, not a big corporate bank.

This thread is fucking awesome! I just became one of 80% of people who work on computers wasting time. I only got about half way through, but want to contribute...
From My Deli Job - open air meat counters often have products that are months old. Everything you can clean to make presentable will be cleaned, no matter how old.
From My Construction Job - Aespestos(Sp?) is everywhere.
From My Job running a kid's camp - half of the kids are there so their parents can get them out of the house during the day (presumably to bang the mailman). Separating them from the kids who actually want to be there should be your first order of business.
From My Restaurant Jobs - most of the people in the restaurant have fucked someone else who works/worked in the restaurant and it usually has bearing on scheduling/firings. There's usually one girl who's slept with a bunch of the staff, try and guess which one the next time you're at the Olive Garden.
Do not piss off your server.
If your bartender is pouring strong drinks, he/she is drunk/drinking.
Don't go to a restaurant and only order soup.
From my Fitness Industry Job - personal training is totally subjective. Trainers are mostly motivators, so find someone you like and worry less about what they're teaching you.
Supplements are mostly bologne.
Fitness gadgets have a high failure rate (bodybugg).
From my Coffee Industry Job - employees would save hundreds of dollars (and countless hours) were their companies to invest in an Office Coffee program.

I agree, Id say he might mean dont do it at a busy restaurant as they see you as occupying a place that might be stopping someone who is gonna order 4 courses.
