dont ever get fried rice from chinese restaurats. fried rice is basically left over fried or white rice from previous customers that are mixed together and served again.

It's not that the thread went bad, its just that we need new people to come to Mayberry to tell us some more dirty little secrets.

Move this thread to the Heavys and watch all the new responses we'd get.....j/k

Worked for Safeway as a bagboy in HS. Everytime someone wrecks a soda can container, especially the six-packs, the soda orphans are put in a box in back. I was told to go and wash these. There was a big smelly box in back, and some had been in there so long that the sugar spills on hem were rotting. So I washed them and put them in the soda machine. Gross.

My dad drove a pepsi truck for a while when I was a kid. They had a "limit" on how many of the glass bottles could break during the shipment (2 cases). He rarely broke any, so he would just always bring 2 cases home, we had pepsi out the ass. This probably doesn't apply now though, cans and plastic being the norm. I still assume this is the way it is for most shipping.

I know for a fact that citizen's arrest is only permissable if you actually witness an indctable offence (agg assault or better, I think.) Anything else and you are breaking the law. EDIT: IN CANADA.

Also, in Halifax, NS - you will almost never get a parking ticket if it is raining out. I have been testing this theory for years and haven't got one yet.

Starbucks-

The majority of the pastries and all of the packaged sandwhiches are replaced every morning. At the store I worked at, each end of shift the food was all thrown in one large trash bag to be given to a homeless shelter. Though it was a cool act on the stores part, it was kind of fucked because all of the cakes, cookies, etc. would just mash into each other, flavors would dillute, and it was just nasty when you opened the bag. With all the supplies, a simple wrap of paper per item would at least allow the goods to retain some value. Im sure a homeless guy wouldnt give a shit, but it was a shame to see such good, expensive food get mashed and ruined like that.
