Citizen's arrest means that a private citizen has the right to detain suspected criminals until proper law enforcement personnel can assume custody.
One criteria for a legal citizen's arrest is the immediacy of the crime. The ideal circumstance is to catch the suspected criminal in the very act of committing a crime. A person witnessing a mugging can seize the mugger and hold him until a police officer arrives, for example.

I remember Tom Hanks performing a citizen arrest in a movie, pretty cool.

The amount of money a municipalilty or state pays to get a raod paved is unreal. To pave a new parking lot smaller than 1/2 acre can easily be $1 million+. Much more expensive than i ever thought.

Arbys roast beef is not a "roast" cut. It is however beef that has been roasted. But it is more of a mush of left over garbage meat collected off the slaughter house equipment. An Arbys roast is not a solid piece of meat, think of it like meat paste, you can stick your hand all the way through it and out the other side. When roasted becomes a solid mass. When cooked it stinks.
The fast food place where I worked had extremely high sanitation standards, that is probably hit and miss however.

yeah we did discuss arbys, i gave them the lowdown on how its a mush opposed to a brick when you put it in the oven. nasty shit. i used to hate having to unwrap that crap.

But I dont know if this was an unique case or what, because it was a piece of shit mall and still is to this day. So, potentially my friend could have filed a battery and assault charge on the guard for doing that. But in the end, we got banned from ever going into that major retail store again.

Each store has its own policy. That specific mall had its zone, PacSun had its no restraint policy, but I knew a guy who worked at Target and got to tackle shoplifters who left the store as long as security was present and the customer resisted verbal instruction. Shit, at the Hollywood video I worked at the managers would chase people down who tried stealing from the store.
Its individual store policy.

What no one noticed is in fine print on the bottom of the entry card it stated that by filling out this card, you agree to enter the contest but ALSO pay for a full year membership if you do not win.
On the card they got your name, birth date, phone number, e-mail, and just used a skiptrace(?) program to locate your credit info, employment info, etc.
ALWAYS READ FINE PRINT

Thats outrageuous. Good thing I always do read the fine print

Fed Ex does the same thing. It was standard procedure to tear down walls of boxes inside a truck and let em all crash to the floor!
When I first started & tried to do the job right I got laughed at, EVEN by the SUPERVISOR
I regret not cashing in on a hidden camera exclusive
