Allright. I took what you said before as everyone in your area cakewalked it, meaning it was so easy no one failed. I know the grumblings around here also complain that it's too much of a moneymaker to let very many through on the first go, but I think that's probably the people who didn't make it the first time. I don't work on a rig anymore, I work for an organ transplant team. Happier there, less politics.
Massgrunt- are you the same Massgrunt from that other board that has the black helo sometimes?

that much is very true. it is a hyoooooooge money maker for these greedy cocksuckers. They sure love to take our money even though they don't pay us worth a fuck don't they? I've been told by several testers that they used to let people re-test practicals on the same day, but they stopped doing it to squeeze more money out of the broke ass medics. I tell ya, we got some really great people running the EMS show don't we?
massgrunt, what did they just sign your card for you or something? We have to run every algorithm in the book one on one with a tester and with a time limit to get our cards.

Some places put on a big show of security, especially if their inspected by the government, with sniper towers, razor wire and automatic weapons.. then the guy at the gate doesnt even look at the ID badge as he waves you through.
Here is another:
Network admins dont like to get off their butt. If you are at a job and the network admin wont let you install programs or access resources on your workstation, wait a while after the initial setup and find a way to corrupt a semi-vital program. After a few weeks (space out the corruptions) of being called in to do a reinstall you should get admin privileges and if you're lucky, copies of software.
Note: if your network logs file access (rare), you're at a very small company or one that does remote ghosting (big corporations) this wont work and you could get caught.

I posted something earlier about my part-time job - I work at a movie theatre. They honestly will charge as much as humanly possible at concession because that's where they really get their money - tickets just barely cover the cost of movies. If you want to get candy, do yourself a favour and get it from a wholesale place, cause it's cheaper and you can get a ton more for the same money.

Any time there is a crime in a really rural area, they point black refuse to even entertain the possibiliy that it could have been committed by a Japanese person. It is true that crime in Japan is largely committed by the foreigners that come here, but its kinda shocking to see, even the kids straight away say "it must have been the Chinese people who were here recently".
For example, when a local girl went missing last year in a nearby rural town, all the foreigners in the area were called in and had their papers checked over and over, and all tourists were getting stopped on the street and interrogated there and then. They are xenophobic to an extreme level, just under the surface and the polite and mannerly facade there is a serious inbuilt superiority complex among a lot of them.
