My youngest brother worked briefly at a "free-range" farm in western Massachusetts. It consisted of big barns of chickens (15,000 per barn) all crowded together on cement floors. The same with cows. He basically informed me that "organic" and "free-range" foods are one of the biggest scams going right now.

My family owns care homes and most families don't know that the Mandated Reporter laws of the state of California mandate us to turn them in them in when they screw around with their moms/dads/grandmas/grandpas SS check, etc or any financial matters.
It's usually a double shock when the cops end up in their homes arresting them when they screw with their elder relatives funds.
Dirty bastards.

The same goes for free ranged eggs, milk and organic produce. Big time money making scams which are completely legal.
Dog pounds sell euthanizied dog and cat back to pet food companies which break down the animals into canned dog and cat food or powdered substances for fish food and livestock. This substance is often listed as "meat-by product".

I don't even want to read this thread because I'm sure there are disgusting secrets in here, but I shall share. Do not read the following if you ever want to enjoy your night at the movies again:
Things that happened to popcorn when I worked at the movie theater:
A) We did always use fresh popcorn, so I hope that is a relief to everyone. Its funny because people always complained, "This popcorn isn't fresh," and I presume it was all in their heads because I was popping that crappy ass treat every 10 minutes. So that is not the bad part.
B) I personally saw co-workers stick there shoes in the popcorn. Spit in it. Blow their nose in it. Put their hands in it when they clearly had a head cold etc.
Not me folks, but it happened, and just in case you are wondering, I did attempt to put an end to it. When I became a manager I was a tough one, but I don't know what did or didn't happen behind my back.

Me either, I don't even know why people like it that much. It is basically a little puff of something that is able to hold butter in its porous exterior. Might as well just get a spoon and butter and skip the flavorless puff.

Anyway, the lithium batteries powering Hybrid cars are very damaging to the environment. You can decimate mountains and only get a few viable cells.

I got it for Audio pass thru, not video.

The criminal justice system pretty much assumes you are guilty. Once you are "in the system," they don't really care much about the proper outcome. Local politicians, the DA, ADA's all think you are guilty unless there is irrefutable evidence that you aren't. Even then, if they ruin your life in the process, they really don't loose any sleep over it. My advice: do your best to avoid being put into the criminal justice system.

If you're american, you paid for the whole Lebanon War in 2006. That was 100% our war, not Israel's, and 100% illegal. Israel were nothing but mercs.
If North Korea invades, South Korea is beyond screwed, especially Seoul and american troops. They are constantly preparing for invasion and can take every major city in a few hours. Operation speed bump FTW.

When you're buying a piece of electronics, the person pitching the extended warranty isn't doing so for your benefit, they're trying to get the bonuses that come with selling an extended warranty. Although there are exceptions, extended warranties are almost always a ripoff and are just a moneymaker for the store and salesman.
I think most people realize this b/c I never sold to many.
