+1 on that- I worked in a warehouse during HS and as far as I know I'm not a refugee and neither were any of my co-workers. Drunks and stoners maybe, but not refugees. I also found out that you should be careful around delivery truck drivers since a lot of companies work under the assumption that they will get into a certain number of minor accidents per month, which means they don't really care if they hit your bumper.
Also +2 on the fish production being nasty. You really don't want to know what goes into the fish sticks you are eating (pollock that's been sitting around in a mix of its own blood and filth and seawater for at least 24 hours). No really interesting secrets from my current line of work aside from the fact that most government science is sketchy at best. Also for all you SF bay area people Fisherman's wharf is actually still a functional commercial fishing dock- all the offloading happens at pier 45 (right near Scoma's) and generally happens early in the morning.

Not true, they will only comp you if you use a debit card, if you use a credit card they will give you your deposit back and tell you to run along somewhere else.

I just heard this on the radio last week....the guy had a room and it was overbooked and they didn't comp his room at another hotel.....a person who worked for a hotel confirmed that they don't have to comp rooms when they overbook unless you use a debit card. I'm not sure what difference it makes.

I worked at an insurance company and I will tell you that people laugh at you and your personal information. Like say you file a claim, your redneck trailer has burned down or something... The pictures you send in are circulated and laughed at by a whole office full of people that are generally bored.

Like one guy filed a claim about his 600 dollar sunglasses being stolen. He sends in a bunch of stupid ass pictures of him wearing the sunglasses, and this guy looks like a complete tool. The pictures are circulated, blown up, romoshopped and all that. So just remember, even if you're communicating with a professional company like an insurance company, we're still laughing at you.

In this same vein, all of the stuff you're claiming on your insurance is viewed by the lowest guys on the totem pole. Every single day of the week I would sit with stacks of paper detailing what people were claiming on their home owner's insurance. I'm talking jewelry worth tens of thousands of dollars. Home entertainment systems, expensive art, etc. Now I'm not shady, but if I was, I could very easily know what houses to rob, and what to look for. I'd never do anything like this, but if I wanted to I had full access to your information.

This one is iffy. Depends on where you are. If youre in the suburbs where drugs are a little bit harder to come by, alot of people will be coming to you. My friend makes 9 or 10 sales a day ranging from a dub sack to a quad and on a good day can reel in around 300. However 100 of that goes in for more weed to sell. Makes good money for being 16.

And come time for a rave, holy shit thats the jackpot right there. If you have the right dealer, you can get each pill for around 3 or 4 dollars. Come to the rave when people are getting desperate for ecstacy, and you can jack up the prices to 15, and if theyre desperate enough 20 dollars. My friend went to Monster Massive with around 100 pills and came home with around 1200 that night.

Good money for a teenager if you ask me, but gets shitty when you have to actually support yourself unless you start slangin by the pound
