Ok this one really bothers me...

My friend's sister fell for this scam. I concur. Avoid these companies at all costs.

if you're watching a movie and anything goes wrong at all like show starts few mins. late, scratches on the screen, sound problem let any employee know, they'll fix it as soon as possible. go back and watch the movie as it can't be paused or rewound. then after the show, ask to speak to a manager 95% of the time you'll get free passes to use next time.

alot of companies and concierges offer discounts on ticket prices, because they buy movie passes in bulk and then they'll sell passes at cheaper prices to you.

if the movie you're watching really sucks, you can get a refund up to 30mins after it starts, just leave and tell the box office you don't like the movie. thats all you have to say, but don't sit and watch the full movie and come out after and say it was bad, they'll probably just give u an apology and no refund.

oh yes.. the popcorn @ movie theatre is worth PENNIES.
even after energy cost, packaging a large bag of popcorn cost less then 25 cents to make so they make 1000% profit on those.

Contrary to popular belief movie theatres make NO money off addmission. They break off even for most movies, and only make profits on very popular blockbuster movies. eg. spiderman , star wars, etc.

If you spill a coke on yourself at Disney World, they'll give you a new shirt.

People will actually ask for refunds after watching the entire movie? I sometimes find it funny that I'll have to explain why a policy exists to morons like that.

People looking to scam you will often ask you to buy baby formula for them. They do this for several reasons:
1. People naturally want to help children.
2. They're not asking for cash, so you'll be less suspicicious.
3. They can sell the baby formula on the street for premium prices, then they have the cash they wanted all along.

This sort of fits in this thread...covers many scams, some of which are retail or job-related.

Check out The Real Hustle (youtube) for lots of tricky cheeky devil shenanigans that can net a lot of $$, or cost you a lot of $$ if you fall for them.
