Whoa, this is one monster of a thread.. it really needs to be printed in book form. We could call it, "How to not suck at life"...

Seriously though, great info all around.

Which is something you obviously don't want. If you have no choice but to take a blood test (if the facility doesn't offer breath test) make sure this powder is present, if it's not ask the nurse. The powder is put in at a large factory and like anything it's subject to error.
When I send blood to the Coroner or ME for drug/alcohol testing, this is a grey topped tube. I would assume that's the same in other states as well. That would be easier to spot than the powder in the bottom.

There is an incredible amount of money to be made selling shipping supplies like boxes and tape.

inside meat markets we have a "three second rule" where if we drop something but can pick it up off the ground in less than 3 seconds it's still good to use.

I worked as a butcher for 6 years with 4 different companies and 7 different locations all over the place. It's a national, maybe international rule.

A large percentage of most French wine is actually tunisian wine or moroccan wine or even argentinean wine.

Johnie Walker or any famous brand of whisky uses artificial colorants to reach the desired color of the product.

10 liters of beer can cost less than 1 dollar to the manufacturer.

cheers.

Many times different liquor "qualities" are the same base plus some extra 5% of something different. Maybe some color or acidity or density changes and bingo. A "better" more expensive product.

Sometimes a 10 dollar bottle of wine and a 30 dollar bottle of wine have very little difference.
Maybe 5% of an oak-saturated wine, or maybe just some oak essence added. Better packaging is where most of the extra "costs" go.

Same goes with beers..not a big difference really in most cases.

How many people do you know who could truly recognize higher quality beers from a blind sample of 10 glasess? you would be amazed at how little can people do to recognize higher quality liqueurs...even wines of whisky.

cheers.
