Just find a private seller (individual person) that is selling any item and tell them you want to personally pick up your item. People do this all the time. Just tell them you want the item ASAP and would be willing to pick it up. If they ask for cash in person, you can just easily say you are not comfortable carrying large sums of cash like that... and you also don't know the seller and don't want to get robbed.

Obviously, the seller has to be in your city and they have to accept Paypal (which most do) Once you have paid and picked up your item, just pretend to Paypal that you never received said item and they will debit the seller's account and credit yours. Since you picked up the item in person, there is no proof that you received anything.

I would absolutely find out where you live if I was one of those sellers.

During the start of semesters, the college campus bookstores are usually packed. Just go buy whatever book you need. Later on in the day or the next day, just go in with your receipt, pick up another copy of the book and just "return" it.

lol, ive thought of doing this before. does that actually work? is there no way for them to tell that the book you're returning isn't the one you bought when they scan it and check your receipt or something?

ive also thought of just picking up a book and walking out. the bookstore is packed with so many fucking people theres no way theyd be able to tell

Except for small, unbreakable items, I stopped shipping via UPS and FedEx for this very reason. I've used the USPS to send large, fragile packages all over the world and they all arrived in nearly perfect condition.

It doesn't matter as long as they still do that artsy marketing campaign people will eat it up and continue to buy them. I know several people that have been through numerous Ipods and still throw their money away when they break. It's really not even that good of a music player and the earphones are garbage. Two were enough for me and I'll never buy some shitty Apple product again.
