When you buy a car at a dealership, the APR you pay is higher than the rate you qualify for. For instance, after a grueling negotiations session, your application gets sent to a lender and it comes back to the dealership with an APR of 10%. The dealership will come to you and say "Congrats! You were approved for 13%!" This difference can be quite a bit of money (hundreds to thousands of $ depending on the amount financed) that YOU have to pay. But guess who keeps it! The dealership. After negotiating down a few thousand dollars over a course of 2 or more hours, they will make up for it with this method. And..it's totally legal.

You would not believe how filthy some restaurant kitchens are. I have several clients that are restaurant owners and there are some places in my city that I will not eat at. I can't believe the people even work in these places. And while they make food in the filth, it gets shipped out to the unsuspecting customer.

Some gross places in my City:

Punjabi (they make their buffet in the basement where the sewer backs up regularly)
Chili's (fucking gross floors, tables, utnesils and cooks)
Some Western Pizza locations (old food from the day before, gross dishwashers)

There are also some places that are so tidy that it's actually pretty amazing
