I work for a finance company that leases out office equipment. If any of you is thinking of leasing a copier, laser printer, or any high end equipment for your business, then know EXACTLY when your lease ends.

More than half of the accounts I came across had companies paying for years in renewals without even knowing it. For example, A compnay is leasing a copier for 3 years......and 7 or 8 years later they're STILL paying for the damn thing without realizing anything.

My leasing company isn't obligated to send anything about end of lease in any state except NY and Cali. I've seen companies pay $100,000 for a copier they leased for $30,000.

When I first read this one, I thought it was BS. Then I started thinking more about it, and I have a family member who used to be a cook and wait tables, and he was always high on the job... and he worked at a decent restaurant, not McDonalds.

Here is another one

Recipe for KFC gravy:

During the day bits of chicken skin/fat/meat/secret spice (Yes it IS a secret, NOBODY at store level knows the proportions or exact spices) fall from the chicken while deep frying and fall to the bottome of the deep fryer in an area called a collector.

At least once a day, and sometimes twice, the fryers are 'broken down' to be cleaned (oil is drained, insides washed and scrubed, oil put back in). When we do this the collected 'bits' at the bottom are put into a large ****l sieve.

After a day of being in the seive most of the exess oil has drained and you end up with something that has the consistency of a slightly moist OXO cube.

This is the base for the gravy.

You add this and water and a premeasured amount of spiced flour mix (which is almost the same as the KFC secret mix) into a double boiler. Bring to a boil, wisk until smooth and keep for serving in a water heated tray.

(Gravy is considered 100% profit on the store's books)

THAT is how you make the KFC gravy.

For any of you wondering about Wendy's Chili........

Nothing bad at all. it's overcooked or unused hamburger meat from the grill from the same day, meat is frozen in freezer overnight. Next morning. There's a big bag of onions, beans, and peppers or something. Pour that in a big crock pot. Next, pour in the seasoning bag, and last throw in the frozen meat, as well as water all in the crock pot. Heat it up and mix. That's it. The Chili is official business, and come to think of it so is everything else in Wendy's. No microwaves for the meat or anything like that.

If the meat is on the grill for over 10 minutes then it gets thrown with the chili meat or just thrown away. There used to be this lady that would come in every night and buy the unused meat for her dog.

I guess I foundout something i can add.

Car salesmen ussually make money in the after market parts on the car. They dont make much on the car itself, if the car is a 30,000 car they are ussually making 50-70 dollars on it. It's a tough job but when your good at it, the skies the limit on what you can make.

Most people in the sales department are complete pieces of shit, the managers are all fucking pigs worthless pieces of shit only out to screw the fuck out of the customer, an are ussually douches to their employees. (Id say 75% fit this criteria)

Most women that work in the dealership are whores an hired to be banged out by the managers (except for the ones in accounting they are all miserable bitches ussually with little to no social skills).

At professional dealerships when you bring your car in for service they could potentially be done in lets say 2 hours but "run-Time" an can rack up way more hours.

At big dealerships if you complain about service in quick lube chances are you'll get it for free.

When cars are PDA'd ussually they are not done to the complete safety standard, in the owners manual (thats not to say anything is wrong with the car, 98% of the time the car is fine).

I'm not sure on the legal status of this but most cars must have atleast 8-10 miles on it before it can leave the lot sold, because if there is anything wrong with it the dealership is not responsible as they have road tested it.

When your car is detailed sometimes they use harmful chemicals that can really fuck up your paint just to get it done faster as people that detail cars get paid by the hour an a car can be worth 1 hour, so technically they can wash 3-4 cars an in 1 actual hour but get paid for 4.

Once your car leaves the dealership, you are more then likely fucked if you dont bring it in right away. Be sure to inspect your car before AND after you bring it in for service as they will deny anything an everything once you leave. Example a friend of mine used a chemical that fucked up this guys car while detailing it, but polished it enough so when he saw it he thought it was fine, when he got home his car looked like it was rusted old paint. Came back an dealership refused to do anything to help.

Most Service advisors are snakes an really dont care too much about you or your car @ the end of the day. They'll be your best friend an care about your safety but @ the end of the day they want to sell you the most services as they can because they get paid alot for it.

Lastly, if you complain, bitch, an harass the employer intelligently you will get stuff for free, or discounted. An if its a name dealership example : Rick Case, threaten to call him an everyone will suck your sick to try an prevent that.

When you buy a cell phone, ask for a car charger adapter, case, extra adapter, or anything else you can think of. A lot of the stuff is free to give away, but you have to ask for it.
