also, about half the hospitals i've worked at (and i've worked at quite a bit) don't bother with doing the necessary PM's (preventive maintenance) which are required to keep the various machines in working order. if you ever are dealing with a hospital and have reason to believe that you got bad treatment (infection, death, or just simple pain) ask that the hospital quarentine the machines you were hooked up to. if any of these haven't been through the mandatory PM's, you've got quite a large (and easy) lawsuit.

I knew a guy whose dad had a similar job as you.
This guy's dad used to swear that the older, analogue machines in hospitals were far superior to their modern, digital counterparts. He said the digital machines were not nearly as reliable.
What say you?

With all the supplies, a simple wrap of paper per item would at least allow the goods to retain some value. Im sure a homeless guy wouldnt give a shit, but it was a shame to see such good, expensive food get mashed and ruined like that.

THats funny wed wrap everything and put it in a box for them to pick up and then return the next day when they got the next box. We also got in trouble for "PILFERING" and received a letter saying it had to stop or actions would be taken. THey aslo threw out anything melted (chocolate covered espresso beans chocolate covered crackers etc). THey also didnt fir anyone no matter how bad of a wroker they were. Most old people were put at the register but they usually even messed that up. If ur old dont work for starbucks ur seriously in the way

I was a Correctional Officer and It is hard as hell to smuggle anything into a County jail. You have to know somebody dirty. None of the other guards are losing their jobs for that asshole so they will narc a dirty guard out in a heartbeat. Bending rules is how people get hurt.
If you need an appliance fixed call the local guys who sell parts but don't do service. I've fixed tons of washers and dryers and never picked up a screwdriver. Guys call and ask me what I think their problem is, I tell them.
Vacuum tune-ups are a rip. Places will charge you 40 bones to change the bag and belt and wipe your vac off.
Oh yeah, that hotel Alisha Keyes supposedly stayed at is complete dive and in no proximity whatsoever to any concert venue. Seems unlikely for astar of her caliber.

A relative was a securituy guard and he said that inmates would get loud and say I wish U didnt have the bdge and shit on so I could whip ur ass and theyd take off all there shit and fuck up the inmates in the cell. One of the female correctional officers also fucked an inmate and he eventually moved in with her about a year sfter he was released. People would let him know what was about to happen in folsom (top guys in the system) before it ever happened. THe guards would also let them know who ratted and who didnt. (Relative used to be her roomate). THis all happened in new mexico btw

I suppose it doesn't really matter who the Stig really is, but he obviously has racing experience as he's pretty fast behind the wheel. Any other behind the scenes tidbits you can let out the bag?

What are you guys talking about?? Who is the stig? As in non his identity, but what does he do. Everyone in England is like creaming their pants about this guy, and I just want to know some basic info on the position, not the man. WTF is the stig?

If I ask them to put on onions to my burger, that isn't going to piss anyone off, right? Or big mac sauce on my double cheese burger? Can 1 extra step really piss anyone off?

Dude look up the BBC show Top Gear. Its the fucking shit, its been around for 10 seasons and has some amazing cinematography! They review sports cars and super cars. Plus have other specials that are hilarious.
Anyhow, The Stig is their mysterious test track driver that drives all the cars on their set road course to see how they match up against each other. For the folks that watch the show and frequent the BBC forums there is much speculation about who it is. All that is really known is that dude is a maniac behind the wheel and is Caucasian, as his skin colour has been seen between his racing suit and his helmet.

to be honest, i haven't played with the older machines enough to really give an educated opinion on them. however, i keep seeing recall after recall of the new digital machines. that, combined with how infrequently certain hospitals actually take the time to repair/service them, is a bit shocking.
