after i read this i was really surprised by it. so i asked a guy i work with who lived in hong kong for around 50 years if this was true and he said he never heard anything like that. but he also takes big pride in being from hong kong and will correct anyone that says hes from china. maybe theres a big difference between hong kong & china? i dont know, but wanted to share this.

there's a HUGE difference between Hong Kong and China. Hell, HK wasn't even part of China until a few years ago. It's like comparing Spain to Mexico.

If the Home Depot sends one of their vendors a purchase order and the vendor kicks it back to be corrected with a lower price, 99 times out of 100 Home Depot returns the same purchase order to the vendor with the amended, lower cost. When they do this, and don't create a new purchase order, it means they pocketed the change; didn't refund the consumer. They make a lot of money this way.

I don't know if anyone here would ever find this useful, but, if you need to rent a costume or something from a costume shop or a party store, tell them it is for a film or a commercial. More than likely they will give you at least 20% off, no questions asked.
Also, furries like to have sex in costume shops by all the fur costumes. They are some weird ass people. Every 45 minutes or so I have to go on "pussy patrol" and check to make sure furries are not trying anything. We found out that the shop I work at is on some furries website about places to have sex with other furries. I have only personally caught people making out, but co-workers have caught people in the act and found used condoms.

I believe the cops were called once before I worked there. We kick people out when we catch them making out, if I caught someone in the act I would probably call the cops. People bring their kids in to the store, anyone who tries to have sex in a place like that should go to jail.

Make sure they know that, and THEN you can move on to the other portions of the subject. But as all of you know, you don't end up covering all that you should have.
Basically, kids are getting cheated out of a full education in order for us to rank higher on a state-wide scale, which still pales in comparison on an international level. This is one reason why America ranks so low on the world's scale of education; we're half-assing and covering up, as usual.

The Wire Season 4 did a great job showing this.
They make an interesting comparison with teaching for test scores and police "policing" for stats rather than doing actual police work.
God I love that show.

Not a hard one to figure out but ... Movie theatres only make a couple cents off each ticket sold. Their concessions cost so much because thats really how they make all their money.
Movies come in 15 minute film sections and have to be "spliced" and put together. When you see a black dot at the top right of the screen, another will follow shortly after. That is where the two 15 minute sections were put together.
