If you have your child give gifts to your teacher or daycare teachers your child will be treated better. Teachers play favorites.

If your toddler is cute, then they will be taken care of and have more attention directed at them then other children. No one wants to take care of an ugly unclean child, or even baby.

If your child gives me food, he gets a get out of trouble free card.

Incase you couldn't tell, I work in Childcare.

It's also very common for shops to "guess" what is wrong with the car, throw a part at it, and hope that solves the problem. It doesn't really matter if they had to put unneeded parts on your car because when you come to pay they'll tell you it was all required.

Security guards: They don't guard much. Many times when they see something clearly wrong they'll look the other way just so they don't have to get involved. Also they rarely allowed to physically stop you from doing anything. Instead they're told to call the police.

Fast food: They drop your food on the floor and think nothing of picking it up and putting it back on your plate.
I am an auto technician not a mechanic but if I want to rip off someone royal I can easy. Its all in the approach you use really. Specially if you get a person who doesn't know how to use the internet to look for help you got them easy. I knew a guy who told this customer that his internita switch. what that does is it shuts off the fuel pump when you get into an accident, but you can turn it off your self by releasing the switch. this guy did it, told the customer he needed a new fuel pump and charged him over $400

I worked for a suicide and crisis line. I was often sherdoggin while they were talking. Of course I didn't do it during and actual suicide call, but if they were complaining about random life problems, I was pretty able to listen with one ear and post at the same time. I'm sure they wouldn't have appreciated it if they knew.

No one wants to put an infected guy with the runs in the back of his/her patrol car.....unless you've got a warrant you'll be good to go.......
why would he put you in his patrol car? why wouldnt he just write you a ticket and let you go? unless he has a warrant or probable cause, you wont be going into his car anytime soon.

At Cinnabon-

After a certain time you can get two cinnabons for a price of one.
cause at cinnabon all the stuff on the hot plate
we have to sell within an hour. (always bake fresh) or we'll throw them away.
you just go

"are these fresh how long they been out?"
-they either one.
get you a fresh one.
or two
offer you two for one.

This warranty also cost me about $50.

Do people buy warranties that are shorter than the life-span of what they're buying, do they lose their warranty slips/receipts? I've got a special shoe-box for mine.
The idea behind the warranty is similar to the idea behind the mail-in rebate. The companies are hoping that:

1. You'll forget to register your extended warranty
2. Nothing will happen to the shitty product you bought
3. You'll forget you even bought the warranty

Same thing with rebates. Statistics show that if you forget to fill out a mail-in rebate the day you purchased a rebate item, there's an 80% chance you'll never fill it out. Which means you just paid full price for something you could have gotten money back for.

Plus, the extra money you spend before you get the rebate check is first invested by the company. That way, the company can snag a little interest off you before they give you your money back.

Warranties on more expensive items are usually more cost effective. But where I work, we try to sell warranties on the stupidest shit. Unless you're buying something for more than $500 dollars, it probably isn't worth your money (unless you KNOW that what you're buying is gonna crap out). Also, you gotta make sure that the warranty you buy is good for full reimbursement, and not just repair. Fine print is important.

Oh yeah, and you know those lettuce wraps you get at PF Changs and other various asian restaurants?

Don't eat those.

Look at it this way, you've been living your whole life fine up till this point. Regarding food places... It's best not to look what goes on in the kitchen. Like they say, if you saw it, you probably would stop eating there. Enjoy the final product and don't ask questions!!
