Ask the store manager to be sure. No one ever does it, but it is company policy I'm told.

Magazines will not do anything if you do not pay for your subscription. So order any magazine that you want and tell them to bill you later. Check out the issues that they mail you. If you like the magazine then pay your subscription. If you don't then just let it go. Magazines set up a reserve account in their budgets each month to cover the people that don't pay for their subscriptions.

How about now???
So...after reading all 131 pages of this freaking amazing thread, I have come to a few conclusions.
-Don't piss people off that help you. They will mess up your experience, or won't help you out as much as you would like. (I think that's called having some sort of decency)
-Nothing is safe, nothing is as advertised.
-I need to be an expert in everything I ever buy, or any service I ever need done.
Great thread. I'm going to crawl under a rock now. Or maybe eat some Wendy's. I'm starving.

I felt the same way after reading this thing.
If you are ever at a hotel for a few days or more, bring some extra cash for your housecleaner. When I went with a large group of friends to a convention at a hotel, we pretty much took over our entire floor. My roomates for the week had brought drink mix & blenders, xmas lights (to staple gunned around the room for ambience) and computers/radios. When the maid came, we simply tipped her like $50-60 and we were very polite to her and she never said a thing about the room. We had a huge fresh stack of towels every day waiting for us by our door. And whenever we needed anything - from an extra blanket to a room service menu to extra soap, she was on top of it and very polite. Plus when we left, we found her in the hotel and gave her even more cash which I think made her day.

The first 75 pages of this thread was great, took me about 3 days at work to read all of this lol. I don't have much, but here are my contributions:
Personal Trainer: Best job ever because I really enjoyed doing what I did. I was a trainer at Gold's Gym for a couple years, and there were a few trainers that didn't know shit. When you hire a trainer, remember you are paying for their services. The trainer's first priority is your safety, then your fitness goals. A lot of trainers can bullshit their way through a session. After a workout with your trainer, ask yourself, "Could I have done that by myself?" I prided myself on giving my clients the most challenging (yet do-able) sessions which included everything from weights to calisthenics to running suicides to farmers walks to hitting focus mitts. I'd see many of my fellow trainers though where their clients wouldn't break a damn sweat. Also, you shouldn't be warming up on your time (the hour you paid for). If the trainer has you warming up during your session then he's wasting your time (your money). Trust me, you can walk on the treadmill on your own
GNC: I worked here part time while training. We made commission off some products and some we didn't. I sold a lot of Muscletech even though I think a lot of their supps are garbage. The only shit worth taking is the Hydroxycut Hardcore and the Nano Vapor. Cell-tech is garbage and Nitro-tech is the same quality as Optimum Nutrition and other brands. But they paid me the most so I pushed these products the most lol. When you're built, a trainer with a few certifications, and can talk, you can sell anything in GNC. The truth is, buy online. Much, much cheaper. Also, when you return your supplements, I take them home. We're supposed to throw them out anyways, but I'm not letting protein go to waste when it can go to my body lol. PS, this job sucked and I hate lying to people. Atleast I believed in my training (made it easier to sell). It's tough to sell products you don't believe in.
Marketing Agent for DHL: This is my current job, and the benefits are I get commission and my hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, can't beat that. What I do is Sherdog all day, random shit all day, write out my training for the day, etc lol. What I'm supposed to be doing is calling DHL customers and try to upsell our services. We only call small to mid sized businesses. If you're rude, trust me, I will recycle your record and YOU WILL BE CALLED AGAIN. When you're a dick to me, it has no effect on me, I sit at a desk all day and websurf, you're wasting your own energy. Also, I have all your company's info in front of my face, now you wouldn't want that shit to leak out would you?

Mmm well... what can I add from my experience...
-most programmers never comment the code they write
-all french Army recruiters lie
-most Ivory Coast state officials or employees are corrupt
I think that's about it

For the love of god, if you don't want to be called by tele-marketers, ask to be put on their "Do not Call List"
There is an actual button for them to click on. However if you do not ask for that and just voice your disinterest you will just simply be re entered into the system for another person to call you. If you are an asshole on the phone it is very easy to make sure you get called back very soon and very often until being asked to be put on the DNC list.
Worked in plenty of food places, they are all nasty...I've worked in country clubs, mexican places, and fast food, and many friends in the sanwich/pizza places. I still eat it fairly often knowing this. I mean people don't get sick. Although the shit can get nasty, I've spit in peoples ranch, put visine in their drink, my friend would spit on pizzas, it is all pretty bad. But fairly warranted, if you are nice to your food handler, they will be nice to you...but NEVER fuck with the people who handle your food.
Grocery Store -- When you walk in to most places they make you walk through a bunch of bullshit up front they are trying to sell. Some places will make you like a cattle call going through the shit. If you pissed me off in the store, I'm going to make sure your bread is flat when i TOSS that shit in your car and your eggs will be scrambled by the time you get home.
