wow 2 pages of DBZ with pics non the less. Simply awsome
i think the reason why we like the toon so much is that we can relate well with thier constant struggle for personal power. Also many time when i have found myself lacking motivation, all i had to do was look at one of vegetas struggles for power and BAM back at it.

that all being said, that's the dumbest fucking thing you can associate yourself with pertaining to your screen name. I mean really, you know it's a kids show right? you just put yourself in a neat little pocket of anime nerds and acne prone adult weaklings by saying "I am proud to identify with this character for a show meant for 10 year olds." I mean really... that's just silly. how old are you 14?

NERD MOMENT:
Thier strength difference was actualy explained at the end of boo. Vegeta is actual physicaly stronger then goku in thier normal state, but when they go super, Vegeta losses his edge because goku has far more "ki" reserves. Vegeta relized this when goku fought that light eating thingamabob. So in essence no matter how hard he train there is no way Vegeta could close the gap between himself and someone who had a infinate "ki" reserve. In his own word " Born with a natural tallent far beyond my own, no amount of training could have closed the gap between us."

The DBZ debate is actually easier to settle than you nerds think. Goku had retard strength. Vegeta was a thinker, and quite critical of his performances at that. Goku just showed up without any real expectations (or knowledge) of his own limits. Vegeta had a shrew for a wife as well which holds even the best men back.
What I am getting at is it's like any sport, if you think too much about it you stumble, drop the ball, miss the tackle, etc. The most gifted athletes all look like they aren't even trying. Someone who goes to the gym and never really learns how to push themselves will always think they are maxing out when in fact their max could be much higher if they let go of their inhibitions and really learned how much pain the body can work through instead of quitting or putting up a mental block the first time things get tough. Think about it, why do you feel the need to get pumped up before PRs? It's because you've set up a mental block. Breaking a PR should be like walking, you just do it without any fanfare because it's an old PR and not worthy of being a stopping point for you anymore. I will never forget the day when the fattest bastard at my gym, he probably weighed three hundred pounds, actually managed to bench 315 for the first time. He literally was running around high fiving 180 pound dudes who could lift more than him. It was pathetic.
Then again you're forgetting about a little thing called genetics which make Shaq taller than all of you and certain people stronger than average given no previous history of weightlifting.
