It was bound to happen. As of late it seems movie writers have run out of things to make movies about, and after they have seen they can make lots of money making movies about super heroes it opend the flood gates. Since the stories are pretty much already written for them, there is little work they need to do to develop and real characters other then how to put them on the big screen.

Well, they do set monetary records at the box office. Kind of like when american pie was a hit. Ten years of pure unadulterated shit for cinema was to follow. Kind of what capitalism is all about.

I love these movies. I was a comic geek as a kid. I've got about 15-20 of them on dvd.

A Young X-Men idea sounds freakin horrible since there were enough teens in the first 3 movies which kind of brought the whole thing down. A part 4 of the current series would be cool, or a futuristic one.

There's also a Magneto movie coming out next year made by David Goyer.

Yeah, cool characters. Problably won't happen since they don't have big names unless you slap X-Men all over it.

I've read rumors about a Namor flick, an Iron Fist one, another Fantastic Four sequel, and the Magneto one.
