what's with FF being exclusive to Sony? is there an agreement or something?

didnt they drop nintendo for sony concerning FF's exclusive rights a few years back? why wont they do the same now?

man i love kingdom hearts. If i buy a 360 and KH3 doesn't out on it, i'll have to borrow someones ps3 just to play it.

I think it just depends on if they like developing for a particular system. They dropped nintendo when it kept using cartridges. However, they still do "side project" games for most of the systems. But I\it would be a huge deal for MS to get a numbered single player FF game.

Very good news. Can't wait to try this game out. I remember reading a little info on it over at gamespot a while back. Here's hoping it will be released in 2008.

Don't count on it. Square Enix is pretty loyal to Sony when it comes to the Final Fantasy franchise. In fact, I think there are interviews out there with the SE team awhile back where they confirm that while they would potentially develop for the 360, it would have to be an original IP and that FF would remain exclusive to Sony.

KH3 will never be on the 360

BTW, the new Final Fantasy is being released for the X-Box. It was announced at the E3 this year.

It will only be multi-platform in the USA starting out.
