Some quick computer help

I just got a new internet system from my same company, which makes it faster. Its much faster alright, but there is a small catch. I can live with it, but once in a while my browser will stop working and I have to reboot in order to get it to surf again. I've done all the spyware/registry/virus checks and such, but those don't help.

Anyone know anything about this kind of thing?

Might want to try calling your internet company to see what they say

which browser ? Have you checked task manager ? By reboot do you mean you have to restart your computer or just the browser ?

Mine used to have this problem, something was wrong with the pc itself, not the software from the company

Nope, no lockdown. Everything runs exactly as it should, but the browsers wont load anything. Downloads even still continue.

this happened on explorer with me, but not on firefox.

have you tried shutting down the page from task manager ?

Does it happen from specific activity or if you left explorer open on any page it would eventually lock up ?

Does it plug into an ethernet port or USB?

I think it might have something to do with your network. I had the same problem with internet explorer on my pc, but with firefox my internet worked just fine. Try calling your isp and see what happens. Or just change your browser and see if that helps.

I never really fixed the problem in my case, I just used a different browser.
