My sister was needing to get away, so I took her to a public park. We were just spreading bread for the ducks to find the next day and talking ... but a cop pulled up. He called for backup, 3 more cars showed. We got separated, searched, vehicle searched, and had to produce ID to prove we were brother and sister. It was 1am ... new to the area, wasn't aware public grounds were closed after 11pm (they were always public at my old town). They said we were trespassing and 'displaying suspicious behavior related to use of a controlled substance'. And if we hadn't been related, then they would have added 'displaying suspicious behavior related to indecent exposure or public sexual relations' to that list. But because they didn't find anything illegal, we passed sobriety tests, and didn't have alcohol in our system, we would get a warning, but they would be watching for my truck from now on.
A couple weeks later I was there with my girlfriend doing everything on their list. haha A car started to pull up, too ... but they took a turn right before they got to us, to examine the far parking lot on the other side of the park, first. So, I started it easy and left my lights off and mostly coasted to the road. Barely got out of there without being caught. haha I stay away from that park, now.
