Should I Pursue Rapping More?

Whats up... Anyways just curious on some various opinions. I dont really get opinions on my music too much except from fans.

I have a mixtape out, its pro pressed and it sells pretty well. I play a lot of shows around here.

I make all my own beats and record in my own studio, i take it serious. I dont jack beats, i dont steal rhymes. I just rap because ive played guitar since i was 11 and piano since i was 15. Check it out. And leave an honest opinion

(PS, im not trying to get cheap advertisement, ive been here forever and like the site, im just curious)

Not a rap fan here but that's pretty good. Definetly a lot better than stuff on tv.

Music is good, I like the keyboard and guitar on there. Rap is good too.

Pursueing rap more is up to you and what you think your chances are. The odds of success are less than slim.

Oh yeah, like the other guy said, make sure you get an education or at least some type of job skill or something lined up incase this doesn't work out for you.

Thanks guys, yeah im in school right now. Im a senior at NIU.

To be honest im gonna do my best while i can... i dont know about getting famous. Rap is an image thing too. I just like it as a hobby. And i could never get a band together seriously. So this was the most logical choice

not a big fan of rap here so you dont have to take what i say very seriously.

reason i dont like rap is because they all say the same shit and have the same message. All the lyrics talk about hitting up girls and being better than the other rappers. It all seems ridiculously played out to me and your stuff from what i heard did the same stuff. I would respect your stuff a lot more had the lyrics had some substance to them.

Not really my cup of tea. Honestly, I'm not really feeling the beats at all, but I hate most fairly mainstream shit. If you enjoy doing then continue, fuck what others say. I probably wouldn't buy your shit though.
