Can't wait for this and the debut of Sons of Anarchy. The Shield is a close second to The Wire for the best show on TV.

well you need to dl all previous seasons because i imagine if you just pick up from here, it wouldn't be as amazing as it truly is.

I tried jumping into the middle of Season 3 and didn't enjoy it because I did not understand what was going on. A couple years later, upon heavy recommendation by my friends, I netflixed season one. Plowed through it 2 days and the first 5 seasons in 3 weeks. Best TV show I've ever watched.

But to be certain, start from the beginning.
