I save 1-2k a month, putting most into my 401, and putting tthe rest in stocks or art. I waste a lot of money on stupid stuff like going out and buying stuff I really don't need. If I didn't do that I could save another 1-2k a month.

So, I guess I am average in the saving dept.

I can't save money to save my life. I spend and spend on stupid shit like overpriced dinners, or crap for my boat. The only time my wife and I fight is because of money. She spends way less than I do . However, she is more than willing to enjoy a $100+ dinner with me 2+ times a week then get mad at me for inticing her to go .

I see money the same way I see romantic love. ENJOY IT WHILE YOU HAVE IT. It won't be around all the time.

I spent alot when I was younger, but now I save most of it. I've gotten so much better at buying things like clothes and cosmetics, that the things I buy last along time and aren't too expensive.

Im better with other peoples money then I am my own. I have no debt so I just spend whatever I have. I suck at saving.
