the book would be like pulling teeth then. excruciating detail on coming off heroin much worse than the film.

I've evolved from being disappointed in the theater to absolutely fucking loving it.

With the exception of just a few of their flicks, I'm a big fan of the Coen Bros. I really enjoyed NCFOM, I thought it was really well done. Anton was just a cool character.

Swimming With Sharks, awesome dark comedy with Kevin Spacey, I recommend it to everyone looking for suggestions. Never met a soul that didn't like it.

I just watched PATHFINDER. It's a good 5/10. The problem w/ it was that so many of the things that drug it down could've been fixed by a quality production staff. It's a typical story w/ some potentially great battle sequences that fall flat. The movie was darker than the darkest of Tim Burton films. It was so dark in fact that there were very few prime characters that were recognizable, because of the lack of lighting. I just wish this movie could've been done differently, because it would be a 7/10 if storyboarding, lighting, and directing were better.

Pathfinder should and could have approached epic yet as you said fell flat indeed.

Very disappointed in the movie but I still watched it completely, as Viking violence is like crack for me.

The dialog and acting were high school production level. The visual storytelling and tone were the only redeeming qualities. A good movie to pull screenshots from and not much else.
