I disagree with this. The fact that Ledger died doesn't make the film any better nor does it make people
think it's better.
The fact that he died certainly generated more buzz, and while it no doubt got more people into the theater to see it, once everybody sat down and watched the film, Ledger being dead or alive didn't make them think one way or the other.
If you want to say his death created more interest in the film, that's a given, but people didn't come out of the theater saying it was great just because he's dead.

Well I got it from my library and you only get new releases for three days. I just grabbed it because I hadn't seen it and wasn't really too keen on watching it anyway, so the last night I had it, I popped in but quickly realized, "You know, I don't feel like watching this."
I'll see it again, but next time, I'll make sure I watch it when I actually want to watch it
