I think you are just jealous that he banged your girl Kat Hepburn.

did you intetionally mispell Kurosawa and Spielberg so that someone would call you out and be labeld a besserwitter?

About John Ford: Yes, everybody thinks he's great. . .and that's why I consider him the most overrated filmmaker of all-time.
Everybody thinks everything he's done is so great and I don't think ANYTHING he's done that I've seen so far has even reached average level save for Mary of Scotland, but that was good in spite of his direction, not because of it.
That's asking a lot because, unlike DDL, who I enjoy but just find overrated, I really don't like Woody Allen and have trouble listening to him speak, much less watching an entire film of his.
I may see it down the road, but I'm not going out of my way to see anything involving him for a long time.
Truth be told, What's New Pussycat?, What's Up, Tiger Lily, Sleeper, and Annie Hall is enough of that douche for life
You've recommended Manhattan to me before, though, so if there's going to be another Woody Allen movie I watch, it'll be that one.

+1. Allen's voice is so fucking annoying I can't stand it.
I watched Annie Hall last year, and it was so Fn terrible that I got a stroke.
Woody Allen sucks.
BAD.

Seriously man I'd be interested to know what you thought of it, it's a real love letter to New York and not at all your usual Woody Allen fare. You may struggle with it though if you hate him that much but it's a shame to overlook it

Lolita was awesome.
Peter Sellers is fucking amazing, one of the most versatile and creative actors.
If you haven't seen Being There, watch it.
Next, The Killing...

I would argue you could only point out the "build" up to the "twist" upon intense retrospect to the "preceding scenes."
It was unnecessary.
Since many people on here have expressed interest in Funny Games, whats your verdict (no spoilers) for those who have seen it?

Has anyone seen that newish movie with Val Kilmer and Stephen Dorff - a prison movie? Anyway, sort of a 'B' movie, but very, very good. I don't know why I can't remember the name right off hand, and when I went to yahoo movies, it doesn't list the movie in either of the actor's filmographies. Anyone know the movie I'm talking about? It's a must-see IMO.
