No. Oddly I own it on DVD and have never watched it despite being obsessed with Oldboy, I honestly think it is one of the greatest pieces of cinema ever. The premise of Mr Venegance just seemed so, so depressing that I've never been in the mood to watch it. I do love Korean cinema in general though and will watch it at some point. Do you recommend?

oh wait wasn't it the second one. i think 1 was the where the guy's son died and he buried him there, and then 2 was where the kid's dog dies and he buries him there, and then the dog kills his stepdad so he buries the stepdad here so his mom won't be pissed (lol).

Yeah for sure Hig Dog some very memorable scenes in it, feels alittle indie comapred to Oldboy but for the good

Yeah it's a movie that I really loved instantly. The more times I watch it the better it becomes too, I think I must have seen it at least 5 times. It's dark as dark can be, funny, great to look at, brilliantly directed, original, acted to perfection, disturbing, beautiful, with an original soundtrack that is out of this world. 'Last Waltz' is such an atmospheric piece and sets the tone of the movie perfectly. The film blows my mind. It has become a bit of a target for certain people probably due to overhype and becoming the cool film to like, but this shouldn't detract from what is in my opinion a landmark film

i don't know, i posted on it after i watched it, but felt like i was either missing something culturally that makes it work or that it just wasn't so great. it seemed like structurally it was predicated on these twists, but that they weren't logically very tight. i won't post spoilers but just say that the entire sequence at the end was to me just not satisfying.

Maybe give it another watch if you get the chance. It's definitely a movie that might grow on you
