The film itself was top notch and I highly recommend it to anybody who has yet to see it.

The ending is one of the more thoughtful and thought-provoking I've seen in years. For most of its length its a well made mystery but the conclusion makes it a classic of sorts as a mystery-drama.

That wasn't his fault. There's a different cut that exists out there that plays much better.
ALIEN3, I liked. I admit it did suffer from too many chefs being in the kitchen. It was his first time out, he did not know how to assert himself properly.

I just watched 3:10 to Yuma (Russell Crowe proving he's still a bad ass) and that makes it two consecutive nights where I've watched a film dealing with an individual's perception of the "right" thing, and when I thought about it, I figured that had I been in either Casey Affleck's shoes or Christian Bale's shoes, I would guess that I would've done the opposite of what they did (no spoilers for those who have yet to see either film).
Now it's off to watch the 1941 thriller The Ghost Train before I call it a night.

Yea but whereas (spoiler alert?) Gone Baby Gone invokes the moral dilemma in a mature way, 3:10 to Yuma just uses it all as manipulation for the climax. I liked that movie, but the ending strains credibility and nearly kills it for me.

Yeah, Audition is great. Unfortunately, Miike really jumped the shark not long after making that movie. Izo was so bad that I haven't bothered checking out any movie that came after it.

Indianna Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
This shit brick earns a solid 6/10.
Wait for the dvd or walk out of the theatre disappointed. That's all.

Only if you see it that way.
I'm interested in anyones opinion w/ a serious opinion. I'm not interesting in people that buy into the hype. Richard Roeper is a great and respected movie critic and happens to think that Shia LaBeouf is a decent actor. I happen to greatly dissagree, but he manages to back up his opinion. I'm just sick of ignorance in movie threads. I wanted this one to be more pure.

Damn, that's disappointing to hear, though I had a feeling it would be a bit sub-par for some reason.
