Well, it was certainly one of the greatest plot twists I'd ever seen. It's the only movie that I watched back-to-back...I wanted to see where the clues were that should have led me to figure it out.

I would say that he was smart as hell (manipulating everyone to his wishes)...maybe not so much evil???

How can a film fan give no credence to performances the likes of which Pacino has turned in in films like The Godfather and The Godfather II, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, and Scent of a Woman among others?

If he was Keyser Soze, he's VERY evil. He wasn't a serial killer or anything, but he was definitely the villain of the film, especially by the time all of the smoke clears at the end.

Yes, he was KS...my point was that he seemed to be more of a very, very smart one-man mob.

His power was in keeping his reputation and anonymity. His reputation was more evil than his reality.

When I think of evil I think more of the woman from The Audition.
