Even if you've never read anything about the man---which is very hard for me to fathom since he's arguably one of the top five most infamous men in 20th Century American history---how about Reservoir Dogs when Lawrence Tierney tells them that Mr. Blue is dead? Buscemi goes, "Mr. Blue is dead?" to which Tierney responds, "Dead as Dillinger."
He's an enormous part of popular culture. How a person can go through their entire lifetime never having attained the knowledge that John Dillinger was a bank robber that was gunned down in the 1930s is on the level of someone going through their life never learning that Hitler was the brains behind the Holocaust and killed himself towards the end of the war.
Oh, no. Did I just spoil Valkyrie by ruining the surprise that Tom Cruise's plan to kill Hitler doesn't actually succeed?

I completely agree did anyone watch Titanic and not know it was going to sink. Or watch Passion of the Christ and not know Christ was going to get crucified. When watching a movie that is made based on a well-known event/person, talking about it isn't spoiling it, as it is common knowledge. Common knowledge doesn't mean that everyone knows it, just that its something that can be assumed, they do.

Still haven't seen either of those, 28 Days Later or 28 Weeks Later. I do enjoy the apocalyptic film and I liked Romero's Dead trilogy, so I'm assuming they'd be something I'd enjoy?

Both are fantastic.
The first one is directed by Danny Boyle, the first 20 minutes are the best part of the movie where he's walking the city all alone, kind of turns to shit towards the end IMO
The second has a different director, directing is the same quality, but the story is much much better, very good from start to finish.

I hated 28 Weeks Later but loved 28 Days Later. I will say that Weeks had some amazing parts though, like the intro chase and the flamethrower scene.
Also, I saw Transformers 2 last night.
*SPOILERS*
It was indeed as horrible as everyone said, but it was still a pretty fun movie. What I found the most interesting above all was how pervy the whole thing is. It seemed like within the first ten mintues of the film you have Megan Fox panty shots, a robot with a cock laser, Sam's parents talking dirty, and a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting. And what about the two or three hentai-esque robot tentacle scenes? I can't believe the studio let Bay do it. Then again, I can't believe he got away with Mudflap and Skidz either.
Did I enjoy the movie? I guess. But it EASILY could have been 30-45 minutes shorter. Right around when they went searching for that ancient deceptacon to read the symbols is when the film fell apart. They could have cut almost all of that excess crap out and still made a good movie, or replaced it with more robot ass kicking, which is why we come to see these films in the first place.
The only action sequence in the entire movie that impressed me was the fight where Optimus died. Everything else was either too chaotic or typical.
4/10

I agree with all of that.
That fight scene in the forest was awesome though. Should have had more of that

I know discussing the realism of a film about alien robots is beyond stupid, but all the same, whenever I watch any of the robot fights, I always end up wondering how come none of the transformers ever step on the people running around at their feet.
How Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox have yet to be trampled amid all of the chaotic robot throwdowns is nothing short of miraculous.

I also found it funny how robots from galaxies away come to Earth with stereotypical ethnic voices and personalities.

Watched Tropic Thunder last night finally. Meh. Had a few funny moments, but overall it wasn't very good. The funniest person in the movie was Tom Cruise.

I was really disappointed in the movie but Tom Cruise owned it.
